July 2011

After the Biddulph family reunion, Jay headed back to Abidjan. Emily and the boys spent the rest of July attending swim lessons and trying to squeeze in as many visits/outings with friends and family as possible.

Visiting the aquarium in Sandy, Utah with our friends, the Larsons.

Man, are we gonna miss Utah's corn on the cob! We learned from living in Belgium that stores/farmer's markets in Europe generally don't sell corn on the cob. Tragic!

Farewell Cousin Porter

This week, we said goodbye to James and Simon's cousin Porter who is serving a 2-year LDS mission to Guatemala City, Guatemala. We will all miss him while he is away, but know that in serving God, he will be doing a very important work. Good luck Elder Urmston!

Biddulph Reunion 2011

Jay's parents (Grandpa Stu and Grandma Betty) celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this June. To commemorate the event, the family decided to hold a reunion. The Biddulphs spent a week in Encinitas, CA enjoying the beach, the weather, and all of the fun venues San Diego has to offer. All of Jay's siblings were able to attend. Jay flew in from Abidjan, his brother Brian flew in from Australia, and Tamra (his sister who passed away) was represented by her two sons and their families. We had a lot of fun relaxing and spending time together. It was a great week.
